Ski Bus & Ski Train

Here in Kaprun, you don't need a car to enjoy winter sports. Different bus lines will bring you comfortably, safely and, above all, totally relaxed to the valley lift station of the Maiskogel.

Zell am See - Kaprun - Zell am See

Coming from Zell am See, the No. 660 bus departs from the Postplatz in Zell am See in the direction of the Kitzsteinhorn (and return), making a halt right at the stop for the Maiskogel.

Use of the bus is free of charge if you can present a valid ski pass or if you are carrying your ski or snowboard equipment with you.

Kaprun - Maiskogel - Kaprun

The K1 and K2 buses operate in Kaprun themself. Every 30 minutes, they run from the castle, to the town center, continuing to the Kitzsteinhorn. The ski bus stops right next to the valley station of the Schaufelberg panorama lift.

Use of the bus is free of charge (including non-skiers).
Winter sports fans who are staying in Kaprun have the opportunity to ride the village bus (every 15 minutes) to the Maiskogel. Rides on this bus are also free.

Ski Train Pinzgauer Lokalbahn

With the local railway you can get to our ski area without stress and without jam. The valid ski pass is valid as a train ticket for the section Mittersill - Fürth / Kaprun - Zell am See.
